THE SOCIAL MEDIA NUISANCES

Facebook is one of the most fast growing social platforms in the world. With more than 2.7 billion monthly active users, more than a third of the world’s population uses Facebook. Founded on February 4, 2004, Facebook has consistently evolved through the years to fit the needs of its users and attract new ones. This includes the acquisition of Instagram and WhatsApp. Businesses can create their own pages, groups, and events. Facebook also offers targeted advertising opportunities for those who want to increase visibility to specific consumers.

There are lots of positivities in the use of Facebook but most people aren't using it in the rightful channel, they either turn it to a fracas platform where different types of tantrums are thrown at one another.

BULLIES: People with low self extreme had committed suicide mainly because they were dehumanised on Facebook. And those that have tick skins never bother about what people say or feel about them.

Internet to me is AN ARCHIVES where Informations are kept. We should be mind of what we post on the Internet.

My encounter with Professor Wole Soyinka

Akinwande Oluwole Soyinka, (born July 13, 1934, Abeokuta, Nigeria), Nigerian playwright and political activist who received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1986. Wole Soyinka is among contemporary Africa's greatest writers. He is also one of the continent's most imaginative advocates of native culture and of the humane social order it embodies. Born in Western Nigeria in 1934, Soyinka grew up in an Anglican mission compound in Aké. A pan Africanist, freedom fighter, and a great writer. My personal encounter with wole soyinka.. In 2008 Myself and Niyi Babade a veteran journalist. He is an International media practitioner hoisting the continent’s flag in global media space.
